A friend posted about how business transition advisory shouldn't be treated as a transaction — it should be treated as a generational event. He was right. But it went further than that for me.

I've spent 25+ years in construction. I've watched business owners build something incredible, sell it, and then sit in the emptiness wondering what it was all for. I've watched leaders drive their teams into the ground chasing shareholder returns — while the shareholders are the people getting ground up. I've watched brilliant founders who could engineer anything, manage massive projects, lead hundreds of people — but they couldn't read a P&L, and that blind spot quietly eroded everything they built.

And I've watched what happens when a leader does have financial clarity. They sleep better. They make better decisions. They invest in their people. They give more generously. They lead from confidence instead of anxiety.

The Conviction

This isn't a fintech product with a mission statement bolted on. The mission is the product.

I believe God created us. I believe he left us overwhelming evidence to support that. And I believe he invites us into what he's doing — not just in church, but in business, in our communities, in the way we steward every resource we've been given.

Business is a tool for mission. Money is a tool for blessing. Financial clarity is what frees a leader to actually do both well.

When I heard Tim Tebow talk about using everything he had to care for those who can't care for us back — the least of these — something locked in for me. That's the mission. Not to build wealth for myself, but to build tools that empower leaders to steward well so they can bless others.

The Person We're Building For

She's running a nonprofit and her board is asking questions she doesn't know how to answer about her Q1 financials. He's a surveyor who started his own firm and just crossed $2M in revenue but has no idea if he's actually profitable.
